赖先生最早于2000年接触特级摩托艇， 是唯一持有国际摩托艇比赛执照的华裔选手，曾在全球各地各大联赛取得不俗的成绩。
Mr Martin Lai, a successful businessman, was born in UK and received both Chinese and western education in Hong Kong and UK.
Mr Lai began his powerboat career in 2000. He is the only Chinese pilot in P1 World Championship with a UIM (Union Internationale Motonautique) power boating license with outstanding achievements in many international powerboat tournaments.
